The organizers of the 15th Referee Cup received a positive surprise: the Lueneburg Sparkassen Foundation is supporting the traditional event in June at the Hasenburg with a maximum of €2,360. The request has now been granted.First international assignment!
Eintracht top referee Celina Boehm officiated her first international match on February 21, 2022:
The U17 Girls teams from Germany and Denmark met in the Manfred Werner Stadium in Flensburg. At the end it was a clear 5-1 (4-0) for the German team coached by Friedrike Kromp.

First registrations!
The first two registrations for the Referee Cup have arrived!
The colleagues from the NFV district of Stade and a Berlin referee selection, who even play in the official hobby league of the Berlin Football Association under the name “Young Boys Berlin”, submitted their participation form.

Photo shoot of the hosts
On January 28, 2022, the Lueneburg celebrity photographer Paul Vogt asked the referees of SV Eintracht to the Bardowick event factory for a photo shoot.
Linked to this was the handing out of the new adidas tops, which could immediately be put in the right light.
In the photo, top model and young referee Max Hofmann is being photographed. The pictures will be published shortly on Instagram and here on the homepage.
Not only can they whistle, they’re also really beautiful!
We start!!!
For a long time the tournament crew have weighed up, now there could be a much more favorable pandemic situation in the summer. It was therefore decided to intensify the preparations for the tournament and to send out the invitations at least once.
Certainly there will be restrictions, but nevertheless the organizational crew would like to give the large referee family a platform again to meet, play football and celebrate together. Of course, the hygiene concept specified by the host football club for the sportsground will have to be taken into account.
Negotiations are already underway with some of the FIFA referees from different continents who are to officiate the matches in the tournament – names will of course only be given once visas and flight tickets have been confirmed.

Greetings from Cairo
What a fantastic greeting from Cairo to the Referee Cup: during the African Women’s Champions League final tournament in 2021 there was also be a referee seminar of the best referees in Africa. And three participants sent a photo greeting (from left to right): Adia Cisse (Senegal, FIFA assistant, was in Lueneburg in 2019), Gladys Lengwe (Zambia, FIFA instructor, 2017) and Bernadettar Kwimbira (Malawi, FIFA assistant, 2017). If you want to meet such great colleagues, come to Lueneburg in June 2022!!!
